🔥 Onsite Begins – The Start of Real Work

This week, HABB officially stepped into onsite operations at the Jaffna office. The room felt different – focused, restless, a little chaotic, but full of purpose.

We opened with a long brainstorming session. Pure honesty. No sugar. We asked tough questions: How do we handle a real-time AI project with zero past experience? How do we split the workload? How do we balance onsite + remote? How do we manage costs without going broke?

I pushed the team. Motivated them. Challenged them. Because sometimes the only way forward is straight through the fire.

🧠 Guidance That Grounded Us – Robinson B. Prashanthan Sir Joins In

Robinson B Prashanthan dropped in too – calm, sharp, wise like always. He gave us direction, clarity, and a reminder that every big team starts as a small one taking brave steps.

📄 A Big Leap — Bidding for the Department of Industries

In the middle of all this, we jumped into another major move. The Department of Industries – Northern Province announced a new project, and we didn’t hesitate.

Me, Sanjee, and our project manager Nira sat down, filled out the bid, double-checked everything, and posted it.

A small envelope. But a big moment.

🌊 OOIVU on the Road – Hotel Promotions & Marketing

OOIVU also had its own busy chapter this week.

We had promotional meetings at:

Pearl Island Hotel, which owns Selam RR Biryani Jaffna
Humming Bird Suite Jaffna

We spoke marketing, branding, positioning – how OOIVU can push them forward with a clean, honest strategy.

We also worked on fresh marketing materials. OOIVU is slowly shaping its voice – confident, modern, and grounded.

🎉 A Small Celebration – A Moment That Lit Up the Week

In between the planning, the meetings, and the deadlines, we took a pause for something sweeter – a birthday celebration at the HABB office.

Simple, warm, full of smiles. These little moments remind us that a team isn’t just people working together – it’s a family growing together.

🧹 Resetting the Space — Office Cleaning Day

No great week ends without a reset. We cleaned the office end-to-end — floors, desks, shelves, the forgotten corners. It felt like wiping dust off our minds too.

🕯️ Maveerar Thinam – A Moment of Silence in a Loud Week

In the middle of all the hustle, there was a quiet, heavy moment. (Maveerar Thinam (Great Heroes’ Day) is a remembrance day observed by many Tamil communities around the world. It’s held on 27th November)

Me and Sanjeev Vijayaratnam attended the Maveerar Thinam memorial at Nallur. A day of remembrance. A day where the heart becomes heavier without asking permission.

It’s not about noise. It’s about respect. About remembering lives, stories, and sacrifices that still echo through our generation.

For me, it’s personal. A connection formed through family history, displacement, childhood memories, and the weight of everything our people lived through.

From AI planning to OOIVU marketing to government bidding to remembering history to cleaning our small office space…

this week was a mix of everything- growth, chaos, laughter, strategy, and soul.

We’re stepping into a bigger league now. Bit by bit. Brick by brick. With faith, focus, and the fire to keep moving.

🌟 Brainstorming Session at HABB – Stepping Into Real-Time AI This past week at HABB Jaffna has been nothing short of transformative. We’ve officially stepped into onsite operations, and with that came one of our most important brainstorming sessions yet. We sat together as a team of Niruthan Paranthaman, Thiruverakan T, Nirosha Pirabhakar, Danishiya Appulingam, Arunthavarajah Kajaraj, Kajitha Jeyakanthan, Thibakar Srisomaskanthan, Danishiya Appulingam, Thuverakan Tharumakulasooriyan, Paran Kabiththanan , Mithunan Jeyamohan & Sanjeev Vijayaratnam and we faced a big question: How do we handle a real-time AI project with zero prior experience?

By not running from it. By preparing, planning, questioning, and growing – together. We discussed everything openly: • balancing onsite and remote work • how to split responsibilities effectively • managing project costs • building a resilient workflow for AI development • keeping the team motivated through the unknowns A special thanks to Robinson B Prashanthan for joining us and sharing guidance that grounded us and pushed our thinking forward. His clarity and experience always make a difference. We’ve also taken another big step – submitting our proposal for a new project from the Department of Industries, Northern Province. Huge shoutout to Sanjeev Vijayaratnam and Niranthari Mohanarajakumar for working with me on the bidding process. This entire week was preparation mixed with excitement – a blend of growth, pressure, teamwork, and a whole lot of learning.
